Metinvest’s re-rollers in Italy, Ferriera Valsider and Metinvest Trametal, have become the first in the country’s steel industry to receive credit management certification in accordance with Italian and international standards.
Metinvest Enterprises in Europe Receive Credit Management Certification

Spartan UK, the Group’s re-roller in the United Kingdom, also underwent the process successfully. The work was conducted in 2021 by the independent audit company TUV Rheinland, whose certification is recognised globally.
Headquartered in Genoa, Metinvest Trametal is responsible for overseeing credit management at the three enterprises. The credit management system includes the credit portfolio of more than 1,100 Group customers in Europe.
The certification confirms compliance with best practices in credit management at Metinvest's mills in Europe.
Commenting on the news, Andriy Bondarenko, Chief Financial Officer of the Group's entities in Europe, said: “The credit management certification proves the right management strategy is in place for the sales credit portfolio in Europe, the professionalism of the team and the function is being digitalised successfully.”
